Glen Elk Iron isn't a big-box gym, and it isn't a boutique studio. It's a real gym — built and run by people who actually train, for people who actually train.

Opened in 2023 by Shawn & Beth Bennett, Glen Elk Iron was born out of a simple idea: Clarksburg deserved a serious place to get strong. So they built one — 10,000 square feet in Glen Elk Village, packed with the largest free-weight selection in the area and specialized equipment you won't find anywhere else nearby.

The quality of our health determines the quality of our lives, and nothing is more important than that. That belief is the whole reason this place exists.

Shawn and Beth pour the same energy into this gym that they ask of every member. From day one it's been hands-on — greeting new faces, hosting high school powerlifting meets, and building a floor with a culture to match the iron on it.

Whether you're walking in for your very first session or chasing a new competition total, you get the same thing here: the equipment, the environment, and the people to help you get there.
